What happens when I change a destination?+

The QR pattern stays identical, only the redirect target changes. Already-printed codes start sending scanners to the new destination within seconds.

Do scans slow down my redirects?+

No. Redirects are served with minimal overhead, and scan events are logged asynchronously so the scanner never waits.

Can I use my own domain?+

Yes, on Growth plans and above. Add your domain in the dashboard, point a CNAME at us, and we provision HTTPS automatically. Your codes then live at qr.yourbrand.com/…

What file types can I host?+

PDF, PNG, JPG, WEBP, MP4, WebM, MP3, WAV and OGG up to 5 MB per file. Images are auto-optimized on upload and served through the same short URL.

What is the difference between static and dynamic codes?+

A static code encodes its destination directly in the pattern. It is free, unlimited and stored nowhere, but it cannot be edited or tracked after printing. A dynamic code points at a short link we host, so you can change the destination, set rules and see every scan.

Do free QR codes carry a watermark?+

Yes. Static codes and trial codes carry a DynamiHost.com badge in the centre of the code. Paid plans replace it with your own logo, or no badge at all.

Can DynamiHost send scan data to my other tools?+

Yes, on Pro and Business plans. Every scan can fire a signed webhook to any URL you choose, verified with HMAC-SHA256. That plugs straight into Zapier, Make or your own backend, and the dashboard includes step-by-step integration guides.

How do you keep scan data clean?+

Bot scans are detected and filtered out of analytics automatically, anomaly detection on Pro and Business plans flags unusual traffic spikes, and every account can enable TOTP two-factor authentication.
