Make (formerly Integromat) connects DynamiHost to your other apps through visual scenarios. The connection is one webhook: DynamiHost sends the scan.created event to Make every time one of your dynamic codes is scanned, and your scenario takes it from there.

What you need

  • A DynamiHost plan with webhooks: Trial, Pro or Business. If the Webhooks page in your dashboard shows a locked message, your plan does not include webhooks yet.
  • A Make account.

Step 1: Get a webhook URL from Make

  1. In Make, create a new scenario.
  2. Add the Webhooks module and choose Custom webhook.
  3. Click Add, give the hook a name, and save. Make shows the webhook address. Copy it.

Set the scenario scheduling to On demand (the webhook option): it then runs only when a delivery arrives, not on a timer.

Step 2: Add the URL in DynamiHost

  1. Open Webhooks in the dashboard and click Add endpoint.
  2. Paste the address from Make and select the scan.created event.
  3. Save, then copy the signing secret shown once for the endpoint. You only need it if you verify signatures inside the scenario.

Step 3: Test the connection

On the Webhooks page, click Send test on your new endpoint. In Make, use Run once and watch the test delivery arrive at the Webhook module, ready to map into the next modules. Then scan one of your codes with your phone and watch the real event follow.

What arrives

Every delivery is the scan.created event: the code's id, short code and name, the scan time, and, when known, the country, city, device, operating system, browser and referrer. The full payload format, signature verification, retries and the automatic disable rule are covered in Webhooks: get notified on every scan in this help centre.

Automation ideas

  • Append every scan to a Google Sheets or Airtable log with the code name, place and time.
  • Send yourself a Telegram or email alert the first time a new code is scanned each day, using a Make filter on the payload.
  • Update a CRM record or a Notion page whenever a campaign code is scanned.
