Pabbly Connect is a one-time-payment alternative to the subscription automation tools. The connection from DynamiHost is one webhook: DynamiHost sends the scan.created event to Pabbly Connect every time one of your dynamic codes is scanned, and your workflow takes it from there.
What you need
- A DynamiHost plan with webhooks: Trial, Pro or Business. If the Webhooks page in your dashboard shows a locked message, your plan does not include webhooks yet.
- A Pabbly Connect account.
Step 1: Get a webhook URL from Pabbly Connect
- In Pabbly Connect, create a new workflow.
- In the trigger step, select Webhook by Pabbly.
- Choose the Catch Webhook event. Pabbly generates a unique webhook URL. Copy it.
Leave the workflow open on the trigger step: it waits for a first request so it can learn the payload's fields from a real delivery.
Step 2: Add the URL in DynamiHost
- Open Webhooks in the dashboard and click Add endpoint.
- Paste the URL from Pabbly Connect and select the scan.created event.
- Save, then copy the signing secret shown once for the endpoint. You only need it if you verify signatures inside the workflow.
Step 3: Test the connection
On the Webhooks page, click Send test on your new endpoint. Pabbly captures the sample delivery and shows its fields, ready to map into your action steps. Turn the workflow on when you are done, then scan one of your codes with your phone and watch the real event follow.
What arrives
Every delivery is the scan.created event: the code's id, short code and name, the scan time, and, when known, the country, city, device, operating system, browser and referrer.
